11 Camera Research - Experiment with Available Equipment
In this section of my Blog I will be experimenting with various photography techniques and I will be trying to replicate existing photographs.
I have some experience using various cameras however I will aim to recreate these images using basic equipment such as an iPhone SE and flood lights/torches.
My first experiment was looking at different lighting techniques. In order to fully understand the impact lighting can have on a subject I decided to use one 'control' item/object (in this case a Lego minifigure) as it would remain consistent between various shots. The slideshow below shows the different techniques I wanted to try and at the end you can see my recreations with the Lego character (who was incredibly obliging by the way!).
